As I've said in numerous comments before and will probably continue to say for many comments to come: my parents owned both a Merkur XR4Ti and a Merkur Scorpio back in the 80s. One of the biggest regrets of my gearhead life is that they got rid of both of them too early for me to ever experience either.

Had one on the showroom floor way back when. Always loved them. On the humorous side I had a customer come in and ask to see the Xerati.
